New England College vs. Endicott

The Game Story:
Manchester, N.H. Ė Endicott College menís lacrosse scored the final nine goals of the game cruising past the New England College Pilgrims 15-6 Saturday afternoon at Southern New Hampshire University. With the win the Gulls improve to 2-3 overall and 2-0 in TCCC play. The loss drops the Pilgrims to 0-5 on the season and 0-1 in conference play.

NEC would open the game with four quick goals building a 4-0 lead five minutes into the opening quarter. Endicott would get on the board late in the quarter as Brad Lipkvich (Madison, Conn.) would score off a feed from Jonathon Prentince (Chelmsford, Mass.) at the 5:18 mark. NECís Brian Gillis (N. Vancouver, B.C) would get the goal back scoring his second of the afternoon to close out the quarter.

The Gulls would open the second quarter with three straight unassisted goals before NECís John Gabriel (West Nyack, N.Y.) would stop the onslaught with a man-up goal for the Pilgrims. Endicott would close out the half with goals from Ryan Tocci (Arlington, Mass.) and Chris Cotter (Fairfield, Conn.) to head into halftime up 7-6.

The second half of play would be all Gulls as Endicott would score five goals in the third quarter and tack on three more in the fourth. The Endicott defense would hold NEC to just eight second half shots and keep the Pilgrims off the board cruising to the 15-6 victory.
