| Hamilton College scored five unanswered goals in the fourth period today to take a 10-5 win against host Oneonta in non conference game today. The win for the visitors keeps them perfect at 5-0 this spring while the loss drops Oneonta to 5-3 overall. Hamilton out shot Oneonta in the fourth period 13-2 and for the game as well 39-21. Oneonta scored one more goal with seconds to spare making the final score 10-5. The Red Dragons wasted no time in jumping out to a 4-0 lead early in the first quarter. Tyler Dunne (Cazenovia, NY/Cazenovia), Tim Burns (Syracuse, NY/ Nottingham), Chris Hatzakorzian (E. Patchogue, NY/ Bellport), and Pete Glass (Hurley, NY/ Kingston) all contributed to the uncontested lead of the first quarter with one goal apiece. Senior Kevin St. John (Essex Fells, NJ/ West Essex Sr) scored Hamilton's initial goal with four minutes left in the first period to put the Continentals on the scoreboard. Both teams played excellent defense not allowing any goals on either side until Hamilton junior Clark Winter (Darien, CT/Darien) scored with 1:29 left in the second period. Jack Newton (Darien, CT/Darien) then scored a man-up goal with ten seconds left in the period bringing Hamilton within one goal at the half. Hamilton out shot Oneonta in the period 12-2. Hamilton sophomore Frasher Kempe (Richmond, VA/St. Christophers) tied the game at 4-4 at the 7:47 mark in the third and scored another goal on a man-up opportunity at 6:06 to give the Continentals a lead that they would not relinguish.
