Oswego State vs. Saint Lawrence

The Game Story:
Mar. 24- Junior midfielder Alex Moore and freshman attacker Nick Mastine each scored three goals as the St. Lawrence Saints defeated the Oswego State Lakers by the final score of 13-7 in their first home game at North Country Field in a Wednesday match up.

The Saints, who outshot the Lakers 52-29 and had 61 ground balls compared to Oswego’s 40, improve to a 3-2 record while the Lakers fall to 0-4.

The Saints and Lakers each recorded one goal in the opening quarter but St. Lawrence pulled ahead and outscored them ten to three in the next two quarters before Oswego edged the Saints three to two in the fourth.

Pete Dolan scored two goals and added an assist while Chris Hanbury also connected for two goals. Josh Feine and Tim Loveless each had one goal and two assists. Joe Vele had one goal and Andy Centauro tallied three assists.

Scott Ferguson led the way for Oswego with three goals and an assist. Mike Malecki recorded two goals as Adam Phelps and Steve Tronovich each hit for one goal.

The Saints will next host Union College at 5 p.m. on Saturday evening.
