Plattsburgh vs. Western Connecticut

The Game Story:
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - The Plattsburgh State men's lacrosse team defeated Western Connecticut State, 12-7, in the final game of its 2012 spring trip. The Cardinals went 2-2 on the trip and are 4-2 overall.

Western Connecticut struck first but Plattsburgh responded with four straight goals to close out the first quarter. The Cardinals held a 7-3 lead at the half before adding five goals in the second half to earn the win.

Offensively, the Cardinals were lead by sophomore attack Tim Lawrence with three goals and an assist. Joe Kramer scored two goals and an assist while Anthony Pafundi also scored a pair of goals. Tommy Kilderry contributed a goal and two assists. James Reed and Nick Travers chipped in two points a piece.
