The Game Story:
ASHLAND, VA Ė The Randolph-Macon College menís lacrosse team scored a season high in goals as it ran its win streak to three with a 16-4 win over visiting Mount St. Joseph College on Thursday afternoon in Ashland.

Tyler Watkins led R-MC (4-2) with four goals and four assists for a game-high eight points on the day. Paul Johnsen added four goals for the Jackets, while Billy Rowe notched a hat trick of his own with three strikes in the win. Patrick Nugent started in the cage for R-MC and played the first 49 minutes, making eight saves before giving way to Ray Wodarski who made three stops in the final 11 minutes.

After Rowe and Peter LaPaglia each scored to give R-MC an early 2-0 advantage, MSJ (2-3) scored with 7:52 remaining in the first stanza. The Jackets rebounded by scoring six of the last seven goals of the first-half to take an 8-2 lead into intermission.

Randolph-Macon scored the first six goals of the third quarter, putting the game away on a Zach Craft goal with 3:33 left in the third that made the score 14-2 in favor of the Jackets.

The Yellow Jackets will be off until March 29th when it opens up ODAC play at Guilford College at 6:00 p.m. in Greensboro, North Carolina.
