The Game Story:
ROCHESTER, NY -- The RIT men's lacrosse team used a big second half to beat SUNY Oswego 15-5 in non-conference action on Wednesday afternoon. The Tigers out-scored the Lakers 9-1 in the second half as they pick up their third straight win and move to 3-2 on the season.

Junior attack Iric Bressler (Stafford, VA/North Stafford) led the Tigers with six points on a goal and five assists. Sean Gillies (Oakville, Ontario/Albany Academy) had four points on three goals and an assist. David Burke (Fairport, NY/Fairport) and Kelso Davis (Freeport, ME/Deerfield Academy) each had three goals. Adam Vlassis (Syracuse, NY/East Syracuse-Minoa) and Chris Cherami (Olwick, NJ/Seton Hall Prep) each had a goal and an assist and Jordan MacIntosh (Oakville, ON/Holy Trinity) had two goals and an assist.

RIT jumped out to a 3-0 lead after the first quarter on goals by Bressler, Davis and Burke. The Lakers stormed back with three straight goals in the second quarter. Britt Leone sandwiched a pair of goals in between a Zac Hamilton goal to tie the score at 3-3 midway through the quarter.

MacIntosh closed out the scoring with a goal with less than a second to play in the half. He picked up a loose ball in front of the crease and scored with .5 seconds remaining in the second quarter to give the Tigers a 6-4 lead at half.

RIT came out and scored five straight goals in the first 7:25 of the third quarter to take a commanding 11-4 lead.

Leone scored Oswego's final goal of the game with 1:06 remaining in the third quarter to cut RIT's lead to 11-5.

Cherami, Burke and Vlassis each scored in the fourth quarter to make it a 15-5 final. Burke had two in the fourth and finished with three on the afternoon.

RIT finished with 58 shots and won the ground ball battle 48-26. The Tigers won 15-of-22 face-offs and cleared the ball 22-of-27 times.

Oswego went 18-for-39 on clearing attempts and were 1-for-5 on the man advantage. Judd Robinson took the loss despite making 22 saves for the Lakers.
