The Game Story:
MEN'S LACROSSE DEFEATS FISHER, 13-2 LoGiudice and Culotti combine for nine goals in victory

Adam LoGiudice and Nick Culotti combined for nine goals, including the first seven of the game, to lead the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's lacrosse team to a 13-2 victory over St. John Fisher in a non-league game in Orlando, Fla. With the win, the Red Hawks are now 3-1. Fisher drops to 0-3.

Rensselaer jumped out to a 4-0 lead after the first quarter and 7-0 at halftime. LoGiudice, a sophomore, had four of those markers while Culotti, a junior, tallied the other three. Sophomore Chris Sherman scored the first three goals of the second half to push the lead to 10-0 and the Red Hawks held a 13-0 advantage after three quarters. Fisher scored the last two goals of the game for the final margin.

LoGiudice finished with five goals, Culotti had four and Sherman tallied three with an assist. Tom Haff had Rensselaer's other goal. For the Cardinals, sophomore John Delle Donne and freshman Scott Shattuck scored single goals.

Freshman Ryan Michels earned the win in the cage as he stopped all eight shots he faced. Junior Joe Alonge, who had 16 saves on 27 shots, took the loss for the Cardinals.
