The Game Story:
The Vikings jumped out to a 7-2 lead at the half en route to a 12-9 victory over the Colonels of Curry College in a match played this afternoon at Alumni Field.

SSC (6-3) received four goals from sophomore attackman Justin Jones (Danvers), three goals from freshman attackman Jonathan Falls (Seekonk) and single scoring strikes from senior attackman Ross Arnold (Salem), junior middie Alex Verity (Hyde Park), sophomore middie Luke Metraw (Chelmsford), junior middie Tim Bartlett (Danvers) and sophomore middie Robert Mulroy (Swampscott). Falls and Arnold set up three scores each while Jones, Verity, Metraw, and senior middie Scott Aronian (Chelmsford) picked up single assists.

SSC junior goaltender Keith Hardy (Walpole) recorded the win between the pipes, making 19 stops. Curry (5-7) received a pair of goals from Michael Snyder and single scoring strikes from Paul Marchese, Ryan Rooney, Rob Gardner, Shane Kelley and Michael D'Amato. D'Amato also set up a pair of goals. Senior goaltender Alex MacMillan made a dozen saves for the Colonels.

The Vikings next match will be Tuesday, April 15 when the team travels to Western Connecticut State University for a 7:00 pm contest against the Colonials.
