Senior Eric Bishop was the other multi-goal scorer for the Gulls as he netted three. Salisbury assisted on 13 of its 17 goals on the day.

Salisbury led 5-0 midway through the second quarter before Mary Washington (4-7, 2-4 CAC) got on the board with a Scott Fletcher goal, his first of three on the day. The combination of Bishop, Hickman and Titus closed out the quarter and sent SU into the half up 8-1.

In the third quarter the Sea Gulls picked up where they left off and scored the first five goals of the second half. UMW’s Fletcher found the back of the net at the 4:42 mark and again with 11:26 left in the game.

Senior goalie Max Zarchin (12-0) recorded six saves in the win as he played for the first three quarters. UMW goalie Eric Everitt made 11 saves for the Eagles in between the pipes.
