The Game Story:
Salisbury, Md - Senior attackman Andy Arnold scored six goals and junior midfielder Casey Olejniczak added four goals and two assists to lead #1 ranked Salisbury to a 19-5 non-conference win over #13 Ohio Wesleyan. The Sea Gulls (4-0 overall) spotted the Battling Bishops (2-1) a 1-0 lead in the opening minute before scoring 18 of the game's next 19 goals.

Following an opening score by OWU's Jason Balmer, Arnold tallied three first quarter goals to help lift Salisbury to a 5-1 advantage after one period. Olejniczak then scored twice and Arnold added his fourth to fuel SU's five-goal second quarter, leading to a 10-2 halftime lead.

Two more goals by Arnold, along with Olejniczak's fourth of the day, and the second of the afternoon by both Scott Simmons and Corey O'Neil accounted for a 5-0 third quarter for the Sea Gulls.

Senior Mike Ricucci's second goal of the day with 9:27 remaining in the fourth quarter capped a 13-0 Salisbury run over a span of 27 minutes, increasing the lead to 18-2. Ohio Wesleyan's Brian McCommons scored twice and assisted on another as the Bishops outscored Salisbury 3-1 over the final 8:23 of the game.

Salisbury outshot Ohio Wesleyan 53-23. Three Sea Gull goalies combined to make seven saves, while OWU's Paul McCommons finished with 12 saves.
