The Game Story:
3/31/07 -- Juniors Luke Weber (Lititz, PA) and Brian Stromko (Maplewood, NJ) each scored four goals as Widener pulled away in the second half for a 16-7 Middle Atlantic Conference triumph at Susquehanna in Selinsgrove, PA.

Weber in the third quarter scored twice for the Pride (4-3, 2-2 MAC), who netted five goals in the period for a 10-4 lead. Freshman Cory Malampy (Ridley, PA) and sophomore Matt Bolger (Blue Bell, PA) also tallied in the period.

Widener for good measure netted the first five goals of the fourth quarter for a 15-4 lead. Malampy scored a pair with Stromko, Weber and freshman Brandon Roda (Lancaster, PA) also finding the back of the net.

Stromko also had an assist and leads the squad with 18 goals and 25 points. Weber also had a five-point game and won eight face-offs.

Malampy scored three goals and senior Gavin Goane (Springfield, PA) netted two for the Pride, who cruised to a 46-16 shots edge.

Greg Norris scored three times, Tim Storck netted a pair, Dan Torie dished three assists and A.J. Schaufler made 24 saves for Susquehanna (1-5, 1-3).

Widener hits the road Wednesday to visit national power Roanoke, beginning at 3:30 pm.
