St. Lawrence 7, Union 4

The Union men’s lacrosse team fell to 0-6//0-1 in the UCAA after Saturday afternoon’s 7-4 loss to St. Lawrence. The Saints improved to 6-0//1-0 in UCAA play with the win.

St. Lawrence was on the board with two quick goals in the first. Alex Moore and Rob Russell registered the goals for the Saints. The Dutchmen came back from the early 2-0 deficit with four goals in the second quarter to lead the Saints 4-2 going into the second half. Pete Gross tallied two goals while Dan Myerow and Matt Murphy each had one goal for Union.

St. Lawrence added two goals in the third and three in the fourth to come back for the win. Three of those goals were by Moore and two came by Tim Loveless.

Union goaltender Will Tamm was excellent in net for the Dutchmen, making 27 saves in the game. Saints’ goalie Stephen Salotti made 15 saves.
