| LEXINGTON, Va. -- The 19th-ranked Washington and Lee men's lacrosse team erupted for six goals in the second quarter and four more in the fourth quarter en route to an 11-4 win over Randolph-Macon in ODAC action on Saturday afternoon at Wilson Field. After a scoreless opening period, the Generals found the net just seven seconds into the second quarter as sophomore attackman Seth Fishman (Bryn Mawr, Pa./Haverford) scored off a feed from freshman attackman Will Keigler (Timonium, Md./Gilman). The goal ignited a run of three more scores, including a man-down tally by Keigler at the 9:32 mark. The Yellow Jackets responded with a man-down goal of their own by junior midfielder Keith Baker (Virginia Beach, Va./Bishop Sullivan) at the 6:46 mark to make it a 4-1 game. W&L sandwiched a pair of goals around a lone R-MC tally for a 6-2 lead at the break. Randolph-Macon (6-7, 1-3) opened the third quarter scoring on a man-up goal by freshman midfielder Billy Rowe (Baltimore, Md./Calvert Hall) off an assist from junior attackman Tyler Watkins (Columbia, Md./Hammond) with 3:42 left in the period, but the Generals got one back as junior attackman Ned Rider (Manakin-Sabot, Va./Collegiate) scored off an assist from sophomore midfielder Harry St. John (Essex Fells, N.J./West Essex) with four seconds left to make it 7-3 heading into the fourth quarter. The Yellow Jackets closed to 7-4 as Rowe scored his second goal just 45 seconds into the final period, but a W&L goal by junior midfielder Spotty Robins (Richmond, Va./Woodberry Forest) just 14 seconds later sparked another Generals' run to close out the game Washington and Lee (9-4, 4-1) was paced by Keigler's two goals and two assists.
