Skippy Clary (Baltimore, Md./Catonsville) and Michael Woglom (Cranford, N.J./Cranford) each scored two goals to lead the Green Terror (3-7, 0-2 CC) on attack. Ryan Hennessy (Corning, N.Y./Corning East) led the defense with five caused turnovers and two ground balls. Brian Gleason paced the Red Devils (8-0, 1-0 CC) with two goals and three assists while Kobi Frankel netted three goals. Trailing 9-8 on a Zach Monzo (Collegeville, Pa./Spring-Ford) goal with 4:34 to play in the third quarter, Rob Kendall converted a man-up goal nearly three minutes later to knot the game entering the final period. With 8:58 showing, Frankle hit the back of the net to put the visitors in front before Kendall riffled one home from Matt Cherry 41 seconds later for an 11-9 lead. Pat Bivons (Cockeysville, Md./Loyola Blakefield) drew McDaniel within one with 1:57 to play off Jason Lawrence's (Fallston, Md./Fallston) second assist. After a double penalty with 1:15 to play, the Green Terror had possession but was unable to get a shot off after a timeout with 26.7 seconds left. Glaason staked Dickinson to a 1-0 lead just 1:46 into the game before Ryan Weiss (Easton, Pa./Easton Area) started a three-goal burst in a 1-minute, 45-second span. Woglom and Matt Dupras (Hillsborough, N.J./Immaculata) pushed the lead to 3-1 with 10:51 to play in the opening quarter. Goals from Frankel and Gleason knotted the game with 7:28 showing before a Will Scott man-up tally 1:21 later put the Red Devils on top, 4-3. Patrick Serio (Marriottsville, Md./Marriotts Ridge) knotted the game at the end of the first period before a Nick Leon man-up goal midway through the second quarter put Dickinson back in front. Two Clary goals and a Lawrence tally over the final 5:44 of the second quarter gave McDaniel a 7-5 edge at the break. Leon and Woglom traded tallies over the first 3:18 of the second quarter before Frankel and White tied the game at 8-all with goals 80 seconds apart.
