The Game Story:
Westminster, MD --- Terror Gets Back In Win Column

On Senior Day, McDaniel used a seven to zero third quarter to put away visiting Ursinus 15-8.

The Terror started off slow and traded first half goals with Ursinus to go into the half tied at five. Junior midfielder Steve Hoffman was a perfect two for two shooting in the first half to lead the first half Terror effort.

The third quarter saw the Terror put seven goals on the board and hold Ursinus to zero. Ben Yingling turned away all seven shots he faced in the quarter. Brad Baer did his best to keep the ball out of Ursinus' hands by winning five of his six third quarter face-offs.

The story of the day was the tandem of sophomore attackmen Kolyn Kirby and Matt Buschman. After being held scoreless against Gettysburg, Kirby exploded for 11 points on four goals and seven assists. For the game, Buschman had eight shots all of which were on goal. He drained six of them to run his team leading goal total to 25. Junior Brad Baer made sure Kirby and Buschman continued to get the ball. Baer was outstanding at the face-off X, winning 13 of his 17 face-offs. Junior Ben Yingling was again solid in the cage for the Terror. Yingling recorded 15 saves with only 8 goals allowed.

With the win the Terror improves to 5-7 on the season. They return to the field April 26, at home versus Franklin and Marshall.
