The Game Story:
SPRINGFIELD, Ohio -- Freshman Travis Moore netted five goals as Wittenberg extended Washington & Jefferson's losing streak to eight games following a 21-6 victory in men's lacrosse action on Saturday afternoon in Springfield, Ohio.

The Tigers (4-8) rolled out to a 16-3 halftime lead and cruised to the 15-goal win. Senior Hans Rydquist totaled five points (1g, 4a), while sophomore Cory Windle and freshman Adam Morrison both notched a hat trick. Three Tiger goaltenders combined to make seven saves.

The Presidents (0-8) were led by junior attacker Kyle O'Meara (Lakewood, Ohio/Lakewood) and sophomore attacker Doug Lash (West Mifflin, Pa./Central Catholic), who both scored a pair of goals. Senior midfielder Scott Cook (Weirton, W.Va./Weir) and freshman midfielder Matt Lynch (Camp Hill, Pa./Cumberland Valley) also scored one goal each, while sophomore attackman Matt Kozera (Towson, Md./Boys Latin School) handed out one assist.

Junior goalkeeper Doug DiGiovanni (Washington, Pa./Trinity) amassed 14 saves in the loss. Wittenberg out-shot W&J by a 42-24 margin and collected 48 ground balls (W&J - 31).

Washington & Jefferson, which played its first road contest of the year, hosts Catholic next Saturday at 2:00 pm. Prior to the game, a dedication ceremony will be held for the Presidents' new home, Alexandre Stadium.
