The Game Story:
DALLAS, Pa. – The Manhattanville men's lacrosse team dropped their second straight Middle Atlantic Conference game of the season, 8-3, to conference foe Misericordia University on Monday afternoon at Mangelsdorf Field.

Junior Joe Daly (Mahopac, N.Y./Mahopac), sophomore Jeb Miller (Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y./Cold Spring Harbor) and freshman Brian D'Iorio (Huntington, N.Y./Saint Anthony's) scored all three goals for the Valiants, as the Cougars outshot the visitors 40-24 in the contest. Kyle Calabro led Misericordia in goals with four and Lee Blair finished with a pair.

Misericordia led 5-1 at the half, despite 12 saves from sophomore Dom Poletto (Engelwood, Colo./Regis Jesuit). Misericordia netminder Ryan Kay made 12 saves in the victory and stopped all eight shots in the second period by the Valiants.

Manhattanville (2-4, 0-2 MAC) will return home on Wednesday afternoon for a 4 p.m. conference matchup with Eastern University from GoValiants.com Field. Live video and live stats will be provided for the Eagles contest on GoValiants.TV and GoValiants.com prior to the start of the contest.
