| uniors Adam Drypolcher (Manlius, NY/Fayetteville-Manlius) and Brian Loeffler (Islip, NY/Islip) scored three goals each for The College at Brockport Men's Lacrosse team but Kean University scored with 2:11 left in the second overtime period to post a 10-9 victory in a non-conference game Saturday at Alumni Stadium in Union, NJ. Brockport (1-3) scored four early goals for a 4-1 lead with two coming from the stick of Brad Olzinski (Johnson City, NY/Union-Endicott) and one each from Drypolcher and Loeffler. Kean (6-3) scored twice to cut the lead to 4-3 but Loeffler scored with seven seconds remaining in the first quarter to give the Golden Eagles a 5-3 lead. Kean tied it at 5-5 with two goals in the first two minutes of the second quarter before Justin Tierney (Baldwinsville, NY/CW Baker) and Drypolcher netted goals for Brockport to regain the two-goal advantage at 7-5. A late goal by Kean made it a 7-6 game at halftime. In the third quarter, Kean scored three times to take a 9-7 lead but Brockport scored twice in the final 1:42 of the fourth quarter including Loeffler's third goal of the game with just four seconds remaining to knot the score at 9-9. There was no scoring in the first five-minute overtime period and Kean scored midway through the second overtime period for the 10-9 victory. |
