The Game Story:
Moravian won its second Middle Atlantic Conference match of the season, defeating King's College, 10-4, in a match played at Lehigh University's Ulrich Turf Field. The Greyhounds jumped out to a 4-2 lead in the first quarter, and Moravian led 5-2 at halftime. The Greyhounds extended their lead to 7-3 at the end of the third quarter. Sophomore attack Nick Cacciutti led Moravian with three goals while sophomore midfielder Ken Blom and freshman attack Scott Jackson each found the back of the cage twice. Sophomore attack Clint Quedenfeld scored one goal for the Greyhounds and dished out five assists while sophomore midfielder Tristan Flis and freshman midfielder Shane Doucette each netted goals for Moravian. Junior defender Greg Hawzen picked up his first career point with an assist on Flis' goal. Blom led the Greyhounds with five ground balls and six face-off wins while sophomore midfielder T.J. Hirsch had four ground balls and won three face-offs. Freshman goalie Peter Coutros made a career high 19 saves in the victory.
