The Game Story:
WESLEYAN OVERWHELMS WESTERN CONNECTICUT

DANBURY, CT Wesleyan University, seventh ranked team in the nation cruised to an 18-1 victory in men's lacrosse over the Western Connecticut Colonials at the Westside Athletic Complex Monday night.
Six different Cardinals scored two goals a piece as they raced to a 13-0 advantage before the Colonials would get on the scoreboard. Jon Killeen (Derry, NH), Chris Jasinski (Wilton, CT), Russell Follansbee (Deerfield, MA), Crashon Connors (Princeton Junction, NJ), Dan Latzman (Port Washington, NY), and Adam Kirk (Port Jefferson Station, NY) each netted two goals for the Cardinals, now 6-1 on the year.
Junior attackman Dennis Skarda (Danbury, CT) with 6:24 left in the third quarter for WestConn lone marker.
Four different keepers minded the goal for the Cardinals. Charlie Congleton (Groton, MA) earded the victory after making five saves in the first half.
Kyle Wood (Hyde Park, NY) made five stops before yielding to Eddie Boyle (East Islip, NY), who made three saves in the second half.
WestConn, now 2-2 travels to Manhattenville College Wednesday March 28 at 7:00 pm. Wesleyan travels to Bowdoin University Saturday March 31 for a 1:00 face.
