Becker vs. Norwich

The Game Story:
Leicester, Mass.- Becker College rallied from a 4-1 deficit to defeat Norwich University 8-5 in men's lacrosse action.

Tyler Nicoll put Norwich on the board first on a pass from Kyle Marzeoti. The Cadets added to their lead with 6:09 remaining in the 1st quarter on a Tyler woods goal. Becker cut the Norwich lead in half, when Aaron Fill scored his 8th goal of the season. The Cadets answered back with two goals in just 1:07, making the score 4-1.

Josh Fask cut the Norwich lead to 4-2 on an assist from Alec Abrahamson. Jon Nessen continued the Hawks surge with his 5th goal of the season, making the score 4-3. The Hawks tied the game 2:11 later on another Aaron Fill goal. Becker and Norwich finished the 1st half tied at 4.

The Hawks took their first lead on the game 1:03 into the 2nd half, when Josh Fask ripped a past from Aaron Fill past the Norwich goalkeeper. The Hawks added to their lead with a one man advantage, when Josh Fask scored his 3rd goal of the game, making the score 6-4.

Norwich made things interesting with 6:58 remaining in 3rd period on a Brandon Rankie goal. Aaron Fill and Josh Fask scored 4th quarter goals, as the Hawks held on for the 8-5 victory.

Norwich goalkeeper Ryan Leroux turned away 11 shots in a losing effort. The Cadets fell to 0-1 on the season.

Peter Fellows made 12 saves in a winning effort. The Hawks improved to 3-1 on the season.
