Becker vs. Salem State

The Game Story:
Leicester, Mass- Salem State jumped out to an early 4-0 lead, as the Vikings defeated Becker College 11-5 in men's lacrosse action.

Justin Jones (Danvers, Mass) got Salem State off on the right foot, as he scored two of the Vikings first four goals. With Salem up 4-0, Josh Fask (Worcester, Mass) and Jon Nessen (Levittown, PA) netted back to back goals for Becker, cutting the Viking lead in half.

Salem State answered back with four unanswered goals, including the third goal of the game for Justin Jones.

Becker made things interesting in the 4th quarter when they scored three goals in just over two minutes.

The Vikings proved to be too much for the Hawks, as Jonathan Falls (Seekonk, Mass) scored two late goals, as Salem notched the 11-5 win.

Jonathan Falls led the Vikings with four goals and two assists. Brendan Gill (Chelmsford, Mass) played the majority of the game in goal to earn the win. The Vikings improved to 6-8 on the season.

Peter Fellows (Boylston, Mass) made sixteen saves in the loss. Becker fell to 8-3 on the year.
