The Mount climbs another notch in the conference standings with the win, going to 5-2 in the MLC and moving into third place. The Lions are 7-7 overall and the victory is their fourth straight. They are scheduled to resume action on Apr. 21 when they host conference opponent Trine University.

The Mount jumped out to a 4-0 lead over the Griffins by the end of the first quarter, thanks to two goals from Ryan Gallagher (Chicago, IL/St. Rita).
