The Game Story:
SEWANEE, Tenn. (April 6, 2012) – Behind its best offensive performance of the season, the Sewanee men's lacrosse team blew out SCAC foe Millsaps 24-2 Friday evening, at Puett Field.

With the win, the Tigers improved to 7-4 overall and 2-2 in conference play.

Early on, Sewanee extended its 4-2 first period advantage with nine additional goals in the second. In the first half, the Tigers finished with 37 shots, 15 ground balls and 16 caused turnovers.

In the second half, things stayed the same. The Tigers added seven more goals in the third and four in the fourth.

Individually, Jack Thomasson (four), Reed Daniel (two), Michael Morris (two), Davis Brown (three), Charlie Jackson (two), Peter Rydell (two), Drew Lincoln (two) and John Stiefel (two) all added multiple goals.

Brooks Allman, Hal Smith and Rob Finnegan finished with one goal each. Additionally, Morris added a game-high four assists while Smith won an incredible 18 out 19 face-offs.

The Tigers will continue their four-match homestand with a 6 p.m. contest against rival Rhodes, Saturday.
