3/21/2010 - MEN'S LACROSSE Mount men's lacrosse team records 7-6 win at Trine University Conner White (Las Vegas, NV/Palo Verde) scored with just over three minutes left in the game, putting the Mount up 7-5 and the Lions held off a late Trine University rally to capture a 7-6 road victory. The Lions, 2-5 overall, will host Ohio Wesleyan University on Mar. 20. Trine scored with 1:18 left in the game to cut the deficit to 7-6 as the Mount overcame a first half, 4-1 deficit to win. Six different scorers had goals for the Mount, as Neal Barnes (Carmel, IN/Westfield) led the way with two scores. Zach Thomas (St. Louis, MO/Hazelwood West) posted nine saves and played the entire game in goal for the Lions. |
