The Game Story:
CONWAY, Ark. (April 30) -- Sewanee-The University of the South posted a 9-0 shutout over 44 minutes of action against Hendrix College and would go on to take a 10-3 decision on Friday afternoon at Warrior Field. The Warriors stumble to 0-12 on the season, while the Tigers improve to 4-9 overall and 2-1 in SCAC play.

Sewanee scored three goals in the first quarter and then put four balls past the keeper in the second quarter. The Tigers recorded two more goals in the third quarter before Hendrix finally reached the scoreboard on a shot by junior attacker Dan Fox with 1:00 remaining before the final quarter.

Hendrix junior attacker Clayton Cersonsky and sophomore midfielder collected unassisted goals to round out the Warriors’ scoring. Hendrix will wrap up its 2010 campaign on Sunday afternoon when the team hosts Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) foe Colorado College at 12 p.m. CT on Warrior Field.
