The Game Story:
LYNDON CENTER, Vt. - Lyndon State ended the 2009 season on a positive note with a 15-10 victory over Daniel Webster College. The Hornetsí final record of 4-9 was an improvement over the 1-11 mark in their inaugural 2008 season.

Craig Salvagno (Trumbull, Conn.) netted five goals in his final game in a LSC uniform, and Chris Mansour (Mansfield, Mass.) chipped in four. Patrick McCarthy (Hardwick, Vt.) tallied two goals in the win while Myles Hacking (St. Johnsbury, Vt.), Nate Taylor (Danville, Vt.), Luke Norman-Lacroix (Barre, Vt.) and Colin Blanchard (Williamstown, Vt.) had one each. Hacking and Taylor also collected two assists each in the contest.

Matt Adams (Duxbury, Mass) made eight saves for Lyndon to notch his eighth win of the year.

Ryan Manning scored five goals for the Eagles, Brain Abrahamson had two and the duo of Andy Smith and Adam Laithy tallied one each. Abrahamson also had three assists in the game.

Tom Driscoll stopped 17 shots for Daniel Webster, who finished the season with a record of 1-7.
