Randolph vs. Eastern

The Game Story:
Lynchburg, VA -- Eastern University stormed out to an 11-0 halftime lead and never looked back, posting an 18-0 win over Randolph College in men's lacrosse action Wednesday night at Shellenberger Field on the campus of Lynchburg College.

With the loss Randolph drops to 0-2 overall on the year, while Eastern captures its first win and improves to 1-1 on the season.

Ben O'Donnell, Matt Wagner and Erik Nelson each netted three goals for the Tigers. Nick Mandia, Michael Ryan and Matt Colello added two goals apiece. Mandia also dished out five assists in the win.

The WildCats' R.W. Norris and Ian McHorney each had a shot on goal for Randolph. First-year goalie Kevin McCracken made 18 saves in net.

Randolph will return to action Saturday when the WildCats welcome Marywood University for a match scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
