The Game Story:
LYNCHBURG, VA -- The Washington and Lee men's lacrosse team snapped a two-game losing streak, producing a season-best for goals scored in a 21-2 win over Randolph College on Saturday afternoon at WildCat Stadium in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) play.

The Generals (6-6/ 2-2 ODAC) jumped out to a 2-0 lead as first-year Cameron Dabir fed junior attackman Mac Means for a pair of goals in the opening 7:45 of the game.

Randolph (3-8, 0-4) got on the board at the 6:07 mark of the opening period when junior midfielder Jon O'Hara (Yorktown, VA/Grafton) found the net unassisted. The Generals then closed the first quarter with five straight goals, including a goal and an assist each by Dabir and first-year attackman Tyler Goldman, for a 7-1 lead after the first 15 minutes of play.

W&L added five more tallies by five different players in the second quarter for a 12-1 lead at halftime. The Generals then saw six different players score goals in the third quarter for an 18-1 lead following 45 minutes of play in cruising to the win.

O'Hara led the WildCats with two goals, while senior goalkeeper Kevin McCracken (Annandale, VA/Annandale) played all 60 minutes in goal, making 17 saves. Washington and Lee held advantages of 54-12 in shots, 64-40 in ground balls and 18-9 in face-offs. Ryan Blackwell (Brambleton, VA/Briar Woods) added six ground balls and three caused turnovers for the WildCats.

The Generals were led by Means, who totaled five goals and two assists. Dabir posted two goals and four helpers, while first-year midfielder Garrett Paglia notched three goals. Goldman registered two goals and two assists, and senior Scott Meehan had two goals.

Randolph College returns to the field Wednesday evening with another ODAC contest against No. 5 Lynchburg College in WildCat Stadium.
