| Lynchburg, VA -- #17 Washington and Lee University saw 12 different players hit the scoring column in a 13-1 ODAC win over host Randolph College Saturday afternoon. With the loss Randolph slips to 0-12 overall and 0-6 in league play. W&L improves to 10-4 on the year and 4-2 in conference matches. The Generals would jump out to a 7-0 lead at the break thanks to goals from seven different players. Randolph would score its lone goal of the match at the 2:36 mark of the third quarter when first-year midfielder Stephen Allman would go coast to coast and find the back of the net. First-year midfielder Cooper Brown led the Generals attack with two goals. W&L held a 59-15 shot advantage, as well as a 53-21 edge in ground balls. Sophomore goalie Kevin McCracken was huge in net for the WildCats finishing with a season-high 24 saves. Randolph will conclude ODAC play Saturday when they travel to Guilford College to face the Quakers at 1:00 p.m. |
