Randolph vs. Marywood

The Game Story:
Lynchburg, VA -- Visiting Marywood University scored six first period goals on way to a 15-1 win over Randolph College Saturday afternoon in men's lacrosse action. The WildCats' Ian McHorney darted past two defenders and found the back of the net for the first goal in Randolph College Men's Lacrosse history late in the second period against the Pacers.

With the loss Randolph drops to 0-3 overall on the year, while Marywood improves to 1-1 on the season.

Five different Pacers scored two or more goals in the win. Marywood outshot Randolph 58-13 over the course of the contest.

McHorney added two ground balls with his record setting goal. Michael Potapoff, R.W. Norris and Rashan Colbert all recorded five ground balls in the game. Goalie Kevin McCracken recorded a season-high 27 saves.

Randolph will be idle for spring break and will return to action Saturday, March 21 when the WildCats will travel to Virginia Wesleyan College for a match at 7:00 p.m.
