The Game Story:
Lebanon Downed By Susquehanna, 15-5

ANNVILLE, Pa. - Susquehanna University used an eight-goal second quarter to pull away and top Lebanon Valley College, 15-5, at Arnold Field on Saturday. Sean Foley led LVC with two goals.

The Crusaders (5-2) led 11-2 at the half, but the Dutchmen (2-2) played with them in the second half, holding SU to just four goals, including one in the third.

But LVC's offense couldn't catch up as they managed 20 shots to Susquehanna's 38, and the Dutchmen went 0-for-5 on man-up chances. Sean Ledwick, Luke Delavan, and Dustin Breakey each scored three for the Crusaders.

Foley put the Dutchmen up 1-0 to start the game when he converted Steven Wildberger's pass, but SU rattled off three straight goals to end the first quarter.

LVC cut the lead to 3-2 when Scott Sutton scored unassisted to start the second, but SU again responded in a big way with eight unanswered to end the half, including two in the final minute.

Foley added his second goal to start the third quarter, and Jimmy Black scored his first career goal in the fourth before Ty Fosnacht ended the game with a goal.

Ethan Hilberg made 10 saves in the loss; counterpart Blake Middendorf had eight stops.

LVC visits King's on Wednesday.
