Berry improved to 6-3 and 1-0 in the Southern Athletic Association. Oglethorpe dropped to 1-6 and 0-1. Cory Hall had three goals and two assists for the home team. Ryan Stranahan and James Holekamp each netted three goals for Berry. Ian Gittings had one goal and three helpers. BC, which led 19-2 at halftime, led in all statistical categories. The Vikes led in shots (42-14), ground balls (41-21) and face-offs (17-0). Three different goalkeeper played for the Vikings. Strater Jordan Boreman (6-3) got the win. He made one save in the first quarter. Cooper O'Brien made 10 saves for the Stormy Petrels. Berry plays at SAA foe Centre on Saturday at 2 p.m. EDT. |
