| Michael Emanuelo and Bryan Byers scored four goals each as Berry closed the 2012 men's lacrosse season with a 16-6 victory over Piedmont Saturday at Berry's Ford Field. Berry scored the game's first five goals and led 7-2 at halftime. Berry outscored the Lions 9-4 over the game's final 30 minutes. Seven different Berry players scored in the game. Nat Morey, Cory Hall and Kyle Lomardi scored twice each and Grant Philips and Wes Goldsberry also found the net for the Vikings. Max Smerka led the Vikes with four assists. Patrick Ammons led Piedmont with two goals, while John Gantz, Steve Blanchard, Max Rowse and Spencer Ortis also scored. Berry concludes the season with a 6-9 overall record. |
