| PITTSBURGH, PA – Eugene LaBorde made 12 saves and TJ Leo and Nate Marsh combined for fourteen ground balls in La Roche Men's Lacrosse's (2-7) 15-5 loss to Trine University (3-2) on Friday night at Shaler Area High School. Jean-Guillaume Thouin and Dustin Reykdal led the Redhawks with 2 goals each and Mike Kenski added his twentieth goal of the season. Steve Murphy and Bryce Wells recorded assists and TJ Leo caused 4 turnovers. Shawn Teixeira won 7 of 11 faceoffs in the loss. Despite the loss, La Roche scooped up 40 ground balls and won 12 of 20 faceoffs. The Redhawks also converted 12 of 15 clears. La Roche Men's Lacrosse will return to action on Tuesday when they travel to Pittsburgh-Area rival Thiel College. Last season the Redhawks defeated Thiel 15-2. |
