The Game Story:
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Playing the first ever contest in school history, the Benedictine University men's lacrosse team opened with a flurry, routing Calvin 13-1.

Connor Mersch had a big afternoon, amassing five goals and an assist. Zachary MacLachlan totaled four goals and added three assists. Robert Abbott scored a goal and added three helpers. Calvin scored its lone goal as time expired in the contest. Jeffrey Smitheram and Theodore Jones split time in goal with Smitheram recording a shutout during his tenure in net.
