The Game Story:
Providence, RI. - The Brown University Men's Lacrosse team defeated the Hartford Hawks tonight Tuesday, March 18, 2003 at Stevenson Field on the campus of Brown University, 13-5. Brown is now 2-1 overall.

The Hawks scored ten seconds into the game to take the early lead, but Brown answered back less than a minute later at the 14:01 mark to tie the game. The Bears then scored at 8:43 to take the lead and held onto it for the remainder of the game.

The Bears were led by senior Jonathan Thompson (Freeport, ME) who recorded five goals, two assists, and three ground balls. Sophomore Christopher Mucciolo (Manhasset, NY) added three goals, one assist, and six ground balls. Freshman Kyle Wailes (Toronto, ONT) and sophomore Chaz Woodson (St. George, VA) both added two goals a piece for the Bears. Willse and Woodson also accumulated an assist and three ground balls.

Junior Brian Miller ((Monkton, MD) also scored a goal for the Bears, as well as recording two assists and three ground balls. Assisting on goals for Brown were juniors Rick Tuohey (Annapolis, MD) with one and Richard Whelan (Merion, PA) with two.
