The Game Story:
Providence, RI - Senior Michael Scaglione and junior Ned Britt scored four goals each to lead the Yale men's lacrosse team to a 14-9 Ivy League win over Brown.

Sophomore Chris Mucciolo (Manhasset, NY) gave Brown a 4-3 lead after one quarter of play on a pass from senior Jon Thompson (Freeport, ME) at the 12:45 mark of the first quarter. The Elis battled back to grab a 5-4 margin on goals by freshman David Schecter and Scaglione. Brown junior Brian Miller (Monkton, MD) tied the game, 5-5, with an extra man goal on a pass from Mucciolo at 8:30 of the second quarter.

Yale (5-1, 1-2 Ivy) scored four unanswered goals in the span of 53 seconds to take control of the game and a 9-5 lead at the half. Britt scored the game winner at the 8:55 mark to give the Elis the lead for good. After goals by junior Scott Kenworthy and Britt again, Scaglione's goal at the 9:52 mark gave Yale a 9-5 advantage.

Mucciolo led the Bears with four goals, while Miller added two goals. Junior Mike Levin (Pittsford, NY) made 13 saves in goal for Brown.

In addition to Britt and Scaglione's four goals, Kenworthy added a hat trick, netting three goals for the Elis. Junior goalie Roy Skeen made 12 saves in net for Yale.

Brown will be back in action on Saturday for a home game against unbeaten Georgetown. Game time is 12:00 noon at Stevenson Field.
