The Game Story:
HANOVER, N.H. -- Senior Jamie Coffin (Greenwich, Conn.) and junior Nick Bonacci (Crofton, Md.) each scored three goals, but the Dartmouth men's lacrosse team fell to No. 7 Princeton, 16-11, on Saturday.

The Tigers scored the first two goals of the game and never trailed after that despite giving up a season-high 11 goals to Dartmouth.

Early in the second quarter, the game was tied, 4-4, when Coffin scored off a feed from senior Alec Hufnagel (Scarsdale, N.Y.). But Princeton answered with a four-goal spurt for an 8-4 lead with 2:57 to go until the half.

The Big Green tightened the deficit to two, 8-6, on goals by Bonacci and Hufnagel, but Princeton's Alex Haynie scored with four seconds left until the half for a 9-6 lead.

Coffin's second of the game in the third quarter pushed Dartmouth back within two, but that was as close as the Big Green could come.

For Dartmouth, now 6-7 overall and 2-3 Ivy, senior Ryan Danehy (No. Billerica, Mass.) had one goal and three assists. Hufnagel had a three-point afternoon, contributing two assists to go along with his goal.

Sophomore Tim Daniels (Duxbury, Mass.) had two goals and seven ground balls while winning 15 of 27 faceoffs. Senior Brad Heritage (Cheshire, Conn.) rounded out the scoring for the Big Green.

Dartmouth goalkeeper Pat Marshall (Lutherville, Md.) made 12 saves, while Princeton's Alex Hewit had 16 saves.

Princeton can clinch a share with Cornell of the Ivy League title by beating Brown on Saturday, May 6.
