The Game Story:
BALTIMORE -- Junior attackman Chris Summers scored all of his game-high four goals in a 10-0 Loyola run to start the game as 11th-ranked Loyola pounded Hobart, 14-3, in a men's lacrosse game played at Curley Field Saturday afternoon.

Loyola (9-3) led 2-0 after one quarter, 6-0 at halftime and 10-0 late in the third quarter after Summers' fourth goal with 4:35 left. Dave Spratlen finally got Hobart (6-6) on the board with an extra-man goal 46 seconds later, but the Greyhounds would go on to score four goals in a row after that to take as much as a 14-1 lead after Jim Fink's goal with 8:12 left in the game.

The Greyhounds took advantage of 12 Hobart penalties to score a season-high six extra-man goals in nine attempts, including a perfect 3-for-3 performance on man-up situations in the second quarter. Hobart had eight extra-man opportunities of its own, but converted on just two of those.

Jim Fink and Matt White added three goals for the Greyhounds, who defeated Hobart for the fourth straight season. Joey Case had a goal and a team-high three assists for Loyola, which won by its biggest margin this season.

Geoff Zbikowski had a goal and an assist for Hobart, which scored its fewest goals this season. Goalie Mike Borsz had nine saves before being replaced with 8:12 remaining in the game.

The Greyhound defense, which has allowed seven or fewer goals six times this season, held an opponent scoreless in a quarter for the 12th time in 12 games this season. Goalie Mark Bloomquist also had a strong game, saving 13 shots while playing all 60 minutes.

Kevin Roy, Stephen Brundage and Mike Coffey also scored goals for the Greyhounds, who outshot Hobart 38-35. Loyola's leading goal scorer, senior Michael Sullivan, did not score a goal but had two assists.
