past Sacred Heart, 17-7, in a Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) men's
lacrosse game played at Curley Field Tuesday afternoon.
Loyola (5-0, 3-0 CAA) led 5-0 after one quarter, 9-0 at halftime and 15-0 after
three quarters before Sacred Heart's Chris Swier finally got his team on the
board 1:32 into the fourth quarter. The Greyhounds outshot the Pioneers (2-3,
0-1 CAA) 44-13 through the first three quarters before using reserve players
liberally in the final 15 minutes.
Brundage, who moved into the team scoring lead with his six points, was one of
11 Greyhounds to score a goal and one of 13 Loyola players to record a point.
Chris Summers had a goal and three assists, while sophomore Shaun Reilly had a
