The Game Story:
(Carlisle, PA)- The Dickinson College men's lacrosse team scored six goals in the third period to take control en route to a 16-9 victory over visiting Lycoming College on Wednesday.

Three Red Devils recorded hat-tricks on the afternoon, led by junior Derek Still (Oreland, PA/Penn Charter) with three goals and two assists. Sophomore Charlie Gorman (Chevy Chase, MD/Gonzaga) added three goals and an assist while senior Jon Schneider (Lutherville, MD/Park) found the net three times as well.

First-year Pat Curley (Ellicott City, MD/Mt. St. Joseph) won 18-of-27 face-offs and controlled five ground balls. Clark Appleby (Chevy Chase, MD/Bullis) was solid on face-offs as well, picking up five ground balls and scoring a goal. Matt Kogelschatz (Baltimore, MD/St. Paul's) anchored a strong defensive effort, forcing a turnover and controlling three GBs.

Junior Russell Matthews (Chestertown, MD/Kent County) made 14 saves in the Devil cage. Kyle Gilfoy stopped 12 shots for Lycoming as they slip to 0-3.

The Devils improve to 3-0 on the season. They are home again on Saturday, hosting Kenyon College at 1:00 pm.
