The Game Story:
(Carlisle, Pa)-- Sophomore Jordan Seiken (Villanova, Pa/Penn Charter) had another big offensive game for Dickinson, netting a game-high five goals, all in the first half as the Devils topped York College 16-7.

The Spartans took an early 2-0 lead with goals at the 10:26 and 10:02 marks of the opening quarter. The Red Devils answered with a vengeance, scoring 10 unanswered goals to take a 10-2 advantage at the half.

York went on a 4-2 run in the third period and added another 43 seconds into the fourth to cut the deficit to 12-7. That would be as close as they would come, however, as Dickinson finished strong with the final four goals of the game.

Seiken scored back-to-back goals just seven seconds apart in the first period to give the Devils their first lead at 3-2. Freshman Greg Welch (Media, PA/Penncrest) had a big day as well, tallying three goals and three assists while junior Jeremy Angell (Milton, Ma/Fryeburg Academy) added one goal and four assists.

Dan Murray (Denver, Co/Regis Jesuit) played solid in the midfield, scoring back-to-back goals in the fourth period, and Matt McFarland (Annapolis, Md/Seven) added a pair of of goals as well. Freshman goaltender Sean McGowan (Glens Falls, NY/Kimball Union Academy) had four saves and four groundballs.

Ryan Wynne led York with three goals and one assist while Pat Wynne added two goals as they slip to 2-7 on the season.

The Red Devils improve to 4-5 on the year. They return to Centennial Conference action on Saturday, traveling to Swarthmore for a 3:00 pm face-off.
