The Game Story:
LANCASTER, Pa. - Mark Hild exploded for a season-high five goals and Chris Marcozzi made 11 saves to lead Franklin & Marshall over Dickinson 10-8 in Centennial Conference (CC) men's lacrosse action on Saturday.

The Diplomats (6-2, 2-1 CC) outscored the Red Devils (6-3, 1-2 CC) 4-2 in the second half, including 3-1 margin in the third quarter to collect their second straight win over Dickinson and second consecutive conference victory.

Noah Wilkinsky returned from an injury to score a hat trick, while Jeff Ritter dished out to assists.

The Red Devils got four goals Derek Still and goalie Russell Matthews ended with 11 saves.

Franklin & Marshall battled from an early 3-0 deficit, scoring six goals in the first half to knot the game at 6-all after two quarters.

Hild tallied three of his five goals in the second quarter, scoring the first off a Ritter pass with 12:45 on the clock. Wilkinsky buried his shot at 10:37, before Dickinson made it 4-2 on Still's third goal.

The next three tallies were by the Diplomats, once again by Hild and Wilkinsky. Hild scored while playing with a man down and then flew off the face-off to find the back of the net 10 seconds later thanks to a Sean Oliver feed and help F&M take its first lead at 5-4.

The Red Devils answered with two unassisted markers and Hild recorded the last goal of the half with 2:44 remaining to even the score.

The Diplomats had four different players score in the final two quarters, starting with Jake Gladstone just 17 seconds into the third for his first collegiate goal.

After Casey Finkelstein made it 7-all at the 12:24 mark, Shane Brennan and Wilkinsky exchanged goals for a 9-7 lead that would not relinquish. Hild's fifth tally made it a three-goal game with 7:14 left to play.

Defensively, Sean Murphy won 8 out of 15 face-offs and recorded six ground balls.

F&M returns to action on Wednesday at McDaniel. Game time is 4 p.m.
