Brian Fleishhacker scored seven goals and had three assists. Dean Granoff scored three times and Andrew Kim added two for the Fords.
Peter Fleming scored the games first goal just 1:14 into the contest. From that point on Haverford (2-0) held FDU-Florham scoreless for the next 54:08 of the contest. The Fords defense allowed just 19 shots for the game and goalie Jake Mendinger tallied eight saves.
Granoff answered back 22 seconds later with a goal from the right wing. Haverford went on to score 13 more goals before FDU-Florham got on the board again with less than six minutes remaining in the game. Fleishhacker scored twice and Kim once to give HC a 4-1 advantage after the first period. Max Hjelm, Fleishhacker and Kim all scored in the second period to up the Fords lead to 7-1 at the half.
The Fords scored seven more goals in the second half. Fleishhacker added four goals in the half. For the game, Haverford out shot FDU-Florham 45-19.
Haverford remains home next Saturday, hosting Lynchburg at Walton Field at 1 p.m. |
