The Game Story:
MIDDLEBURY, Vt. - Middlebury improved to 4-0 on the season as they topped Connecticut College, 18-8. The game wraps up a four-game homestand on Kohn Field as the Panthers will take on Gettysburgh on Wednesday.

Middlbury led 3-1 in the first quarter when Connecticut College scored three straight goals, two by Dan Hawxhurt, to take a 4-3 lead with 4:31 left in the first quarter. Middlebury tied the game and would eventually take a 6-5 lead into the halftime break. The Panthers poured it on in the third quarter, holding possession for the first 6:30 and outscoring their opponents 5-0 in the quarter. Middlebury would end up scoring the first eight goals of the half to take a 14-5 lead with 11:43 left in the fourth quarter. Brad Luckhardt broke the 21:18 scoreless drought for the Camels with 11:13 left in the final quarter to make it a 14-6 game as the Panthers went on to pick up the 18-8 win.

Ben Tobey led Middlebury with two goals and three assists, while Mark Foster added two goals and two assists. Charley Howe and Brian Gault added three goals apiece in the win. Hawxhurst led Connecticut College with four goals and an assist.
