The Game Story:
Senior attacker Harrison Iuliano (Mendham, N.J./Blair Academy) scored 3 goals during the first quarter and Ohio Wesleyan went on to defeat Oberlin in the Bishops' North Coast Athletic Conference opener on Wednesday in Oberlin.

Sophomore midfielder Rob Young (Langhorne, Pa./Council Rock South) scored an unassisted goal to open the day's scoring before Iuliano reeled off 3 straight goals for a 4-0 Bishop lead.

Nick Thypin-Bermeo put the Yeomen on the scoreboard, but sophomore attacker Chris Ehlinger (Radnor, Pa.) and Young scored goals in the final 90 seconds of the first period, giving Ohio Wesleyan a 6-2 lead after one quarter.

Iuliano had 2 goals during the second quarter as Ohio Wesleyan extended its lead to 12-4 at halftime, and Ehlinger had a pair of goals during a 7-0 run spanning the third and fourth quarters, helping the Bishops pull away.

Iuliano led the Bishops with 6 goals, while Young and Ehlinger finished with 4 goals apiece.

Senior Ryan Perone (Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield Prep) went the distance in the Ohio Wesleyan goal, making 11 saves.

Thypin-Bermeo led the Yeomen with 2 goals. Drew Zambelli was credited with 27 saves in the Oberlin goal.
