The Game Story:
4/26/08 -- Senior Brian Stromko (Maplewood, NJ) and sophomore Cory Malampy (Ridley, PA) scored four goals apiece for Widener in a 20-4 Middle Atlantic Conference victory over Manhattanville at Leslie C. Quick Jr. Stadium.

Widener (8-7, 5-2 MAC) clinches the No. 3 seed for the conference tournament and on Wednesday will visit second-seeded Lycoming in the semifinals. Game time in Williamsport, PA is 4:00 pm.

Malampy scored twice in the opening quarter to help the Pride open a 6-0 lead. The margin ballooned to 12-2 at halftime with Stromko recording a goal and an assist in the second quarter.

Stromko dished three assists with senior Chris Matthews (Drexel Hill, PA) and freshman Mike Holtz (Easton, PA) scoring three goals. Shawn DeHaven (Lyndell, PA) and fellow freshman Andrew Janusz (Easton, PA) netted two goals apiece for the Pride, who owned a convincing 48-22 shots edge.

Max Garofalo scored three times and Vinny Menzenski had two assists for the Valiants (8-7, 1-6).
