The Game Story:
3/9/08 -- Senior Clint Quedenfeld (Chalfont, PA) scored four goals, but Widener gave up a late goal for a 7-6 loss to Wooster at Leslie C. Quick Jr. Stadium.

Quedenfeld netted his final tally with 5:17 left, bringing Widener (1-2) to a 6-6 tie. But Cole Simmons buried his third goal of the contest with 3:29 remaining for the victory.

Junior Justin Upp (Camden, DE) and freshman Andrew Janusz (Easton, PA) each scored once for the Pride, who were on the wrong end of a 41-24 shots edge. Senior Tim Collins (Yorktown Heights, NY) made 11 saves.

Chris Gatsch had two goals and an assist, Pat Coyne dished two assists and Matt Biester totaled nine saves for the Fighting Scots (3-0).

Widener plays its first road game of the year Wednesday at York (PA), beginning at 4:00 pm.
