The camp will be led by current GFS Varsity Lacrosse Coach Katie Bergstrom. She has coached lacrosse for 8 years and led the team to 4 Friends Schools League championships. More than 20 of her athletes have gone on to play Division I or Division III college lacrosse at schools such as Middlebury, Bates, Bowdoin, Howard, Wesleyan, and Davidson. Bergstrom has extensive experience coaching youth to elite players in camps, clinics, and tournaments. At Columbia University, she was the leading scorer for the Division 1 lacrosse and field hockey teams. Bergstrom is the Director of Athletics at Germantown Friends School, and the Director of the GFS Summer Camps. Other staff members will be made up of current NCAA lacrosse players and other GFS Lacrosse Coaches.
